The skills for learning English must be taken care of from an early age to achieve an optimal development of the language, that is why there are several in which they can develop these skills, among them: British Council with its section Learn English Kids.
LearnEnglish Kids is the website of the British Council for children around the world who are learning English as a second language or a foreign language.
This page contains free resources for children to use at home, either independently or with family members or friends. You can recommend the activities on this page to your students to do as homework or during school vacations.
The page contains the following sections: Listen and watch, Read and write, Speak and spell, Grammar and vocabulary, Fun and games, Print and make and Parents.
For example, in the Fun and games section you will find games and online activities on topics that appear in many textbooks and school programs.
In the Listen and watch section you will find animated stories and songs that have been written especially for children. Many of the stories and songs contain worksheets that you can download for use in your classroom.
